The Gecelca 3 Power Plant is located in the municipality of Puerto Libertador – Córdoba and has two generation units.


Both operate with fluidized bed technology, an innovative system that allows for the sustainable use of non-exportable thermal coal from the department of Córdoba.

UNIT CONTROL ROOM
The units have a Remote Monitoring System that allows process tracking from any required location.
FLUIDIZED BED BOILER:
Reduction of sulfur dioxide (SO₂) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions, allowing great flexibility regarding coal quality.
COAL YARD:
The plant has nearby sources of the fuel to be used, coal, which gives it the classification of a mine-mouth power plant.
